Ozone generators presently on the market have a bad reputation. They are overly complex, fail frequently and often do not operate as claimed. The Center, in collaboration with our industrial associates, has been working to develop a dependable ozone generator that will withstand the rigors of continuous operation.

Based on this collaborative research, Water Systems Integrators, LLC of Englewood, Colorado has engineered ozone generators that yield a dependable ozone output while operating without failure. The unit pictured to the left contains two types of ozone generators being tested at the Center. The thin stainless steel tubes on the left are water cooled UV ozone generators that produce 5 grams of ozone per hour. On the right is a line frequency corona discharge generator that produces kilograms of ozone per day. These units are much simpler than comparable units by other manufacturers and there have been no failures after 6 months of operation.
